Registration Open & Homepage Renewal for 2020
In 2020, April 18-19th, MT.AWA SKYRACE2020 will be held as Migu Run Skyrunner® World Series opening game, Sanjo, Niigata, JAPAN. We really appreciate all who support this event from hart content.
On 25th October 12:00 (Japan time), MT.AWA SKYRACE 2020 all category registration open. And the official homepage has renewed. For the race details, refer to following link.

Registration opening day announcement for 2020
It is thanks to the support of many people that we can hold the event in 2020. Thank you so much.
The registration opening date for MT.AWA SKYRACE 2020 has been decided. The official website will be renewed as soon as entry starts.

(4) Eligibility
●VERTICAL KILOMETER
Healthy men and women over high school students
Those who have abundant mountaineering experience and have the mind of climbers / sky runners
●SKYRACE
Skyrunner® World Series, Skyrunner® National Series, Skyrunning Continental Championships finishers within the time limit from 1st Jan 2018 till 31st Dec 2019.
* At the time of entry, we will listen to the past completed SKYRACE.
* This is for all Non Japanese nationality holiders.
* At the time of entry, you will be asked to complete the race within the time limit.
(5) Entry fee
VERTICAL KILOMETER 6,000 yen for ages 18 and over / 3,000 yen for high school students
SKYRACE 12,000 yen
(6) Cancellation / change of application
・ Applications cannot be canceled in any case after the deposit procedure is completed. The participation fee will not be refunded.
・ Applications are invalid if payment is made after the payment deadline. In this case, it will be returned after deducting the prescribed administrative fee.
・ The right to participate in the race cannot be transferred to a third party.
In 2020, as a player, as a volunteer, as a supporter, we will be involved with as many people as possible, and we will continue to manage the one-on-one meeting carefully. Mandatory Gear
-On 20th, Vertical kilometer, mandatory gear is
Plan A When sunny (weather forecast announced the previous day at sunny and sunny weather forecast Sanjo city rain probability 50% or less)
・Windproof jacket
*At start are of race day, judge man will check it
・Mountain running shoes
※ For safety, running shoes and sandals for land use are prohibited
・socks
・Survival back
・500 ml or more of water
・Foods (gel・bar)
・whistle
・mobile phone
*According to course change, we reduce water from 1 liter to 500ml for SkyRace. MT.AWA Yakushi race and Yagihana race remain same 1 litter.
*On 20th at Bib registration 13:00-15:00, we check "all mandatory gear". So please bring all of them with you.
*MT.AWA Yakushi race and MT.AWA Yagihana race are also plan A.

Snow spike is strongly recommended
It's so much snow left and slippery.
*Just for Vertical and Skyrace.20k, 10k, 3k has no snow.
We locate stuff on the course as many as possible, but
-If you have snow spike, take it with you. If you can buy it, please. After 6th station, so much snow.
-Mountain running shoes and your choice should be the for slippery situation.
-If there is footprint trace, it's possible to stand on cornice or crack. So please follow the red course sign and marking.

Course change announcement
We discussed with team including specialist for avalanche control and weather forecast, avalanche risk is highly recognized. As conclusion, we decided, course change for your safety.
-Vertical Kilometer
8th station will be finish.
*Don't go up to the peak.
*To prevent from avalanche, even after finish, if you go to the peak, we may make the athlete disqualification. Be careful.
-SkyRace
Go through same route as Awayakushi race(20K) and from near 5th station(*1), go up to 8th station and back same route as original route to finish. 23km Altitude gain 1600m+
*1 Near 5th station 13km cutoff time 2hrs 45mins
*Cutoff time at finish 4hrs 50mins
*8th station, we write sign on your bib by pen and note your number.
*Awayakushi race 20K, Yagihana race 10K, Tanada race 3K will be held as original plan.
*Form 6th station to 8th station, course is covered by snow.
*Skyrace prize giving ceremony will be at 12:30, other race ceremony will be at 12:00.
*On 21st, shuttle bus between race venue and Tubame Sanjo station leave at 14:30 from race venue. (Tubame Sanjo station at 15:15)
*On 20th, no timetable change.
